And when the foundation is strong ,it can sustain any challenges . Yoga nurtures a child very important life skills that can help her/her succeed in the world. Yoga helps children manage their anxiety. Yoga improves children's emotional regulation and boosts children's self-esteem.
It increases children's body awareness and mindfulness.It enhances children's concentration and memory. It develops children's strength and flexibility. Children align their bodies and minds through yoga. This increases their mindfulness. Anecdotes and characters are used in our classes to engage with the children .These moral stories always have a mindfulness message within them. This helps them to start believing in themselves or building confidence.Yoga poses work through a range of muscles in the body and helps children find their symmetry.
It encourages motor development too. Yoga is like a short brain break.Yoga gives them renewed focus, attention and enthusiasm for learning new things. Children that practise yoga not only gain an improved level of concentration but they also increase their attention span too. During the children’s yoga class, the children are stretching, strengthening and buildings their coordination. The benefits which are gained in adult yoga are gained in children’s yoga too and infact more than that .
